Well, hey y'all — welcome to Hemphill's Mercantile! I'm Taylor, and I am so glad you're here.

I'm a Savannah girl through and through — born and raised in the Hostess City, where the moss hangs low, the history runs deep, and good stories are basically a love language. Growing up in a place like Savannah, you can't help but fall head over heels for things with a little age on 'em — the peeling paint, the worn wood, the pieces that make you wonder who loved them before you did.

My husband and I took a little detour through Austin, Texas, where we dove deep into the antique world and started building something special. But honey, Savannah kept calling — and eventually, we listened. We packed up everything we'd gathered, everything we'd learned, and came on home.

Since then, life has gotten even sweeter with the arrival of our daughter, Linen. Her name says everything about the life we're building — soft, unhurried, collected with intention, and rooted in the beauty of ordinary moments made extraordinary.

These days, Hemphill's Mercantile is so much more than a shop. Yes, you'll find the most wonderful curated antiques and home goods — but I also offer interior styling services for folks who want their homes to feel layered, personal, and deeply them. Whether we're hunting down that one perfect piece, styling a shelf just right, or giving a whole room a soul transplant, I'm here for all of it.
